Madison area business leaders, professionals convene to celebrate workplace diversity | Business

Given a choice, would talent choose you? This thought-provoking theme, among other important questions, will launch the conversation as professionals from across the Madison area meet at the Urban League of Greater Madison’s upcoming Workplace Diversity & Leadership Summit and Awards Luncheon.

The keystone event to support ULGM’s Workforce Development programs, the summit is a showcase of the what’s, why’s and how’s of building, retaining and growing a diversified workforce.

Registration is open at www.ulgm.org/summit. The registration deadline is May 13 at 5 p.m.

Expanded from a half-day event in its inaugural year, the full-day summit will offer workshops, presentations and networking opportunities for everyone from young professionals to CEOs.

Topics will range from diversity planning and best practices, to understanding the next generation of employees and finding, developing and retaining diverse talent.

The event will be held at the Monona Terrace on Wednesday, May 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
