Woman allegedly attacks man after buying beer | Crime
Madison police arrested a woman on the north side after she allegedly pulled a knife on a man after he sent her to buy beer.
According to a polic report, officers responded to a disturbance involving a knife on the 1800 block of Packers Avenue. Police found a 49-year-old man with a small amount of blood on his hands claiming to be a victim.
The man identified Tonya Turner-Blake, 34, of Madison, as the attacker. He said he had asked her to bring back change after sending her to buy beer with $5 bill.
According to the report, when asked to give the change back, Turner-Blake allegedly drew a knife and demanded the man leave the residence.
Turner-Blake said she did have a knife but was cutting onions during the incident. There were reports of an argument over a pair of gloves between the two.
Officers took Turner-Blake into custody. She is being charged with disorderly conduct while armed.
