Police Search For 2 Men Who Broke Into North Side Apartment | Crime

A North Side woman awoke to a loud sound coming from the front door of her Orin Road apartment around 4 a.m. Friday morning, according to the Madison Police Department.

Police said the woman opened her eyes and discovered two men in her bedroom.

The woman said the two men did not hurt her or take anything. Instead, the men left quickly, police said.

Officers said they found damage to the front door and a closet door.

The men are described as black, about 25 to 30 years old. One of the men was  about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a heavy build and light complexion, police said. They said he was wearing a zip-up black-hooded sweatshirt.

The second man was about 6 feet tall, close to 300 pounds and was wearing a black T-shirt, police said.
