The man who was injured in a shooting last week has been arrested, according to Madison police.

Authorities said Kerry R. Steele, 27, of Madison, was arrested Thursday afternoon on a tentative charge of recklessly endangering safety.

Police said Steele was taken into custody after being released from a hospital. Case detectives said they believe Steele also fired a weapon during the gun violence that occurred on Brentwood Parkway on May 3.

Detectives have identified Robert T. Williams, 29, of Madison, as their primary suspect in the attempted homicide case. Williams was arrested in La Crosse.

Police said a man they were seeking as a person of interest in the attempted homicide case, Bryan Lindsey, 22, of Madison, has been located and booked into the Dane County Jail on unrelated domestic charges and a probation violation.

Police said they are still seeking Terrance Frazier, 24, of Madison, as a person of interest for questioning.
