Mallards shut out for second straight game
News

Bryce Bellin pitched seven innings without giving up a run, and the Madison Mallards got shut out by the Green Bay Bullfrogs for the second straight night.

The Mallards lost 5-0 in Green Bay.

Neither team could score until the fifth inning, when Bullfrogs center fielder David Armendariz homered off of Mallards starter Trevor Foss to give the Bullfrogs a 1-0 lead.

The Bullfrogs would score two more runs in the fifth, and two more insurance runs in the seventh.

Bellin continued an impressive start to the season, lowering his ERA to 0.52 following Tuesday night's performance.

The Mallards return to the Duck Pond Wednesday night to face the Bullfrogs at home.
