Covance to lay off 50 employees | News

Covance officials said that they have laid off 50 Madison-area employees are part of an effort to streamline their preclinical business.

The company announced it was closing a facility in Chandler, Ariz., and was reducing the number of employees in its preclinical services lines as part of a reorganization.

According to a statement, company officials said that they were working with the employees to "to determine potential opportunities, internally and externally"
