Mallards beat Express 3-2 | News
The Madison Mallards combined excellent pitching and timely hitting to beat the Eau Claire Express Sunday 3-2.
Matt Lamothe pitched six perfect innings at the Duck Pond Sunday. He finally left after seven innings, only allowing one run while striking out eight.
Tyler Marincov also had a solo homer to lead the Mallards' offense.
The Mallards hit the road Monday for a game against the Wausau Woodchucks.
