Man hit with tire jack sent to hospital | News

A man was transported to the hospital with cuts suffered by a tire jack following a domestic incident on Madison?s north side this weekend.

The incident happened just after midnight Saturday in the 1600 block of Troy Drive.

According to police, a 37-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he had been with another man?s wife inside a Troy Drive apartment. Her husband, Jose Hernandez, 39, of Madison was enraged after he found the two together and told officers he ?just lost my head? when he went after the other man with a tire jack handle.

The victim fled the apartment and called police. The hospital said he suffered several cuts to the head in the incident.
