Madison Police said a Warner Park softball game, where 40 to 50 people were in attendance, came to a standstill Monday night after a man who was intoxicated began yelling profanities.
Police said 64-year-old Harry Gregory was taken into custody Monday night at that softball game.�
According to police reports, Gregory stole beer from nearby Pierce's Market. Police said the manager of the market followed Gregory to the park. Officers said he took several swings at the manager, but hit another employee in the face.�
Police said his preliminary breath test result measured .19. Gregory is facing charges of battery, retail theft and disorderly conduct.�
