Photo Gallery | Madison College's Centennial Celebration Highlighted By Groundbreaking Ceremony

Madison Area Technical College will celebrate it's centennial by looking toward the future while acknowleding the past.

The celebration will include a free outdoor concert and 100 dozen cupcakes for students, faculty and staff on Wednesday, Sept. 21.

The cupcakes are being created by the college's baking and pastry arts students.

Later in the afternoon, a groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the Health Education, Protective Services, Ingenuity Center and other new buildings that were approved by voters in last November’s $134 million referendum.

That includes renovations at the college's regional campuses.

Community leaders will also take part in a special centennial reception and the evening will wrap-up with a centennial rock concert by the cover band "Honeyshot." The concert is free and open to the public.
